Shaykh al-Mufid on Eid al-Ghadeer

“And it [i.e, Eid al-Ghadeer) is a great day of Eid, on which Allah has made manifest of his hujja, and made the succession of the successor of his Prophet clear, and he made it obligatory as a covenant in the necks of His creation.

It is desirable to fast on this day as thanks to God Almighty for the great blessing in it”
